NL will hopefully find a way to put a smile back on the face of PD patients by working with individuals and small groups to help them achieve an ambition or to enjoy again an activity taken from them by PD .

This will , at times, require a strong will, determination, persistence and team work.

As the result of founder members expressing an interest in playing in an international football competition and two meetings in December 2019 , Northern Lights was formed. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak the competition was cancelled but the Group continued to flourish and in conjunction with Marine AFC officials Northern Lights PD@ Marine was established.
